Faculty of Economics, Computer Science and Mathematics

The Faculty of Economics, Computer Science and Mathematics was founded by the Senate decision of the Cahul State University regarding the foundation of the Faculty of Real Sciences in 1999, and renamed in 2004. The Faculty trains specialists on the following specialties: Accounting, Finance & Banking, Business and Administration, Tourism, Computer Science, Engineering and Shipping Management, Engineering and Management in Food Industry, Mathematics and Computer Science, Computer Science and Mathematics.

The students of these specialties study full-time and part-time. The studies are financed both from the state budget and by the fees paid according to the contracts.

The candidates are registered in the groups with teaching in Romanian and Russian.

The faculty has four departments:

Department of Mathematics and Computer Science;

Department of Engineering and Applied Science;

Department of Finance and Accounting Evidence;

Department of Economics and Business and Services Management

The faculty has equipped study halls, computer rooms and a library. The teaching staff is composed of well-trained Associate Professors, Senior Lecturers and University Lecturers. The teaching activity of the faculty is completed by the scientific research and stages of practice in order to deepen the theoretical knowledge obtained within the courses of specialization.
